Designing the perfect community fitness center is about more than filling the room with the right equipment. The layout of Cortland’s fitness centers is thoughtfully designed down to the last detail — everything from the materials and color palette to the walkways between equipment areas. We take care to ensure residents never feel overwhelmed at a Cortland gym by creating plenty of space for them to enjoy their workout.
A Cortland community gym should feel like an extension of home, where residents feel at ease and ready to tackle their workout. We’ve created an environment that’s not only functional, but also welcoming to everyone. Whether this is the first gym they’ve ever visited or the hundredth, we want to make it easy for everyone to achieve their fitness goals.
Cortland builds gyms with a functional mindset, combining the strengths of both our amenity design and construction teams to create an environment where all residents can feel comfortable.
Every item in a Cortland gym has a purpose based on research and intentional design. Here, residents have access to training options and equipment they won’t find in any other residential fitness center. We only work with the top equipment manufacturers in the U.S., so residents can take advantage of years of industry expertise and auxiliary products designed for functional training. And if there’s something they don’t know how to use, our trainers are on hand to help.
Cortland has a partnership with Fitness on Demand, a virtual training vendor that offers 24-hour access to free training and fitness classes. Residents can take advantage of Zumba, P90X, Beachbody classes, and more at participating communities. Our residents who are just getting acquainted with the fitness world love the flexibility and additional training options Fitness on Demand provides.
