Denise Gage is the Accounts Payable Coordinator for Cortland’s Houston office. In this role, she is responsible for the daily accounting activities for her assigned portfolio’s property operations, as well as managing GL reporting, vendor payments, and transactions. Additionally, Denise has been responsible for internal compliance, which includes monitoring and maintaining vendor compliance with the company’s accounting and vendor management systems.
Before joining Cortland in 2012, Denise served in various functional roles during her 15-year tenure with First Community Management, a national apartment management services company. She held multiple positions related to property management, financial software training, payroll administration, and accounts payable. She also served as an assistant manager with Dinerstein Management Companies, where she achieved over $1MM dollars in leasing revenue.
Denise studied Business Management at Lamar University.
