Faye Shi is a Purchasing Specialist with the firm’s Construction Management team. In this role, she works closely with both construction and project managers to facilitate the purchasing process and manage vendor relationships. Her role includes issuing purchase orders, tracking and expediting orders, and coordinating logistics for deliveries.
Prior to joining Cortland, Faye served as a research analyst and project manager for The Quadrillion, where she performed customized quantitative and qualitative analysis for third party clients to provide business insight and enhance their human capital efforts. Previously, she served as an office assistant for Georgia Institute of Technology’s Department of Housing, where she created initiatives to drive quality and operational performance and generated reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Faye has held several notable engineering internships, working for Shanghai Municipal Engineering and Design Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. and China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China, respectively. Her experience also includes a rotation in the management trainee program with Kuehne + Nagel Inc. in Shanghai, China.
In addition to her experience, Faye earned her master’s degree in Building Construction and Facility Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tongji University.
